Moving 101

Just a few things to remember if you ever sell your house and move out of state.

1. Keep your dresser for as long as possible even if you have to sell it. Keeping your underwear in a cardboard box is annoying.
2. Keep your kitchen table and chairs. Eating steak on a wobbly card table while sitting on your knees is slightly uncomfortable.
3. Be sure your realtor knows your about to be jobless. This will help push the closing forward.
4. Don't tell your 3 year old that your moving until the last minute. This will keep you from questions such as, can we take our house? Can we take my toybox? Are we going to Colorado today?
5. Label your boxes. When you need the mixer to mix the dessert you are currently making, you need to know which box you packed it in. Better yet, don't pack it yet! You'll be making dessert before you move!
6. Last but not least, Try to have a job before you go.
