Key word = "WAS"

Over the weekend I had grand and lofty ideas that I would be kicking my exercise butt back into gear. To do this, I knew I needed to set my alarm clock for at least a half an hour earlier during the week days and get myself out of bed to do one of my many workout DVDs I have stashed in the living room. Jason and I actually have a membership to the Y, but that membership doesn't get me to the Y, Jason does. And he hasn't been feeling like working out lately. All that to say:
I WAS going to set my alarm clock to 5:00 a.m. to get out of bed this morning to workout. But I didn't. I woke up at 5:00 on my own though. And contemplated the fact that perhaps God woke me up since I WAS going to set my alarm clock anyway but didn't do it. So I laid there. In my bed. Hmm. should I get up? Or shouldn't I. And I didn't. because I'm flat out LAZY. But I WAS going to. Initially.

Other than that...
Dawson has a few new sayings:
#1. Mommy, GEEZ.
#2. . Mommy, I have to tell you someping.
I know there's others but I can't think of them off the top of my head. Maybe I'll try thinking from the bottom of my head and come up with them that way.
A few weekends ago, my sister Bobbie and her husband David came over. After a very long day, Dawson was still fighting sleep. He wanted to be out in the living room with us. But the time eventually came where he could fight it no longer:
He fell asleep in my lap while we all talked. And if my shirt weren't any longer, my gut would have been hanging out just like his was.
Finally it was time for me to move him
And he slept right in the middle of the living room floor for about 2 hours.
Yes. I make him sleep with 3 different blankets because I don't want him to freeze in our 19 degree house.
The next day, Jason and Dawson played Wii Jeep:

Only Dawson kept thinking his Jeep was the one Jason was driving...

dont you hate that...when you get up but are still tired and have to debae if you should get up or not...knowing that it would be better if you did now instead of later?? that always happens to me...and i end up thinking of how cozy I am in my warm bed...and of how cold it will be when i get out of it...and I fall back under that stupid thing called sleep. lol.

Joy, what have you been doing to dawson to get him annoyed like that?? "Mommy, Geez"??? lol:)

It's so much easier to get up early in the summer rather than the winter when it's cold and you don't feel like getting out of bed.

My exercise place closed down... so how's that for an excuse.
